Moon phases, the Moon's distance, its passes near Antares, moonrise times and the moonless windows for the zodiacal light were computed with the open-source PyEphem astronomy library. Meteor shower peaks follow the International Meteor Organization's calendar and are approximate by nature. Spacecraft dates come from the mission teams' published schedules, which can change; we update this page when they do.
